Freight Release Cleared from Master Consolidator to Empire CFS Inc.
Customs Clearance Release.
ALL CFS Local Warehouse Charges Paid to Empire CFS Inc. (warehouse fees, pallets, demurrage).
Warehouse Gate Hours from 6:00am to 4:30pm ; First Come, First Served basis.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE DELIVERY ORDER (D.O.) UPON PICK-UP AT EMPIRE CFS
- MASTER BILL OF LADING NUMBER (MBL) – Identifies the ocean shipmen & links cargo to the import manifest.
- HOUSE BILL OF LADING (HBL) NUMBER – Identifies the individual customer’s shipment within the master shipment.
- MANIFEST PIECE COUNT – Specifies the number of cartons/pallets/crates or pkgs authorized for release.
- MANIFEST WEIGHT – Confirms the shipment weight & assists in verifying cargo and transportation requirements.
- MANIFEST CBM – Identifies the shipment volume for verification and freight handling.
- COMMODITY DESCRIPTION – Describes the cargo to ensure the correct freight is released.
- PICK-UP LOCATION – Identifies the CFS or Warehouse where cargo is to be collected.
- DELIVERY LOCATION/CONSIGNEE – Indicates the destination on party receiving the shipment.
- AUTHORIZED CARRIER NAME/INFORMATION – Includes the carrier’s name, SCAC and any dispatch or driver information to ensure freight is released only to the authorized carrier.
